Free Software is a crucial component in the protection of privacy and other fundamental liberties in the digital age. Without Free Software, users have no control over their computing.
The Open Rights Group is the UK’s leading voice defending freedom of expression, privacy, innovation, creativity and consumer rights on the Internet. We campaign to change public policy whenever your rights are threatened, by talking to policy-makers, informing the public through the media, and mobilising our supporters.
The local Manchester branch has worked with several local groups, and are proud to be part of Manchester’s CryptoParty.
